Siddhartha Simone is one of the most exciting makeup artists in the world at the moment. Aside from her trademark on skin work, her delicate approach to texture, her modern take on blending and the use of colour, some of which she mixes herself, makes her a unique makeup artist of her generation. 

Siddhartha is often praised for her extraordinary keen eye to detail. She is incredibly talented in creating the most beautiful fresh skin and is always experimenting in finding balance with surprising details, which variates between super delicate and simplistic, or bold. She is known for her intuitive meticulous way of working. 

She was born and raised in The Netherlands, lived in Amsterdam when she started assisting Diane Kendal, gaining great grounding and experience with one of the industry’s best. After assisting Diane, she moved to London to pursue her dream and push her career further. Currently she is London and Paris based. 

Transferring her love of painting and utilizing delicate skills into her work, has seen her work with photographers such as Carlijn Jacobs, Zhong Lin, Oliver Hadlee Pearch, Craig McDean, Anthony Seklahoui, Louise & Maria Thornfelt, Dan Jackson, Esther Theaker, Annemarieke van Drimmelen, Senta Simmond, Robin Galigue, Bibi Borthwick, Chris Rhodes, Mel Bles, Hugo Comté, Campbell Addy, Julia Hetta, Nadine Ijewere, Tim Elkaim, to name a few. 

Siddhartha’s works has been featured in publications such as Another, Acne Paper, Beauty Papers, British Vogue, i-D, Holiday Magazine, Purple, Dazed, Vogue China, Vogue Japan, Vogue Germany, Harper's Bazaar France, Document Journal, Fantastic Man, The Gentlewoman, More or Less, Revue, Self Service and WSJ Magazine. 

Siddhartha has a long-standing relationship creating campaigns for Zara Beauty. Some of her commercial clients include Amina Muaddi, Calvin Klein, Cos, Fendi, Hermès, H&M Beauty, Joseph, Kassl, Levi’s, Mango, Massimo Dutti, Merit Beauty, Theory, Tommy Hilfiger, Trussardi, and 7 For All Mankind.
