New York State born Liz Goldson was on track to become a professional swimmer, and received a swimming scholarship to the University of Florida, where she also undertook a degree in animal biology. However, during college, Liz decided to take a step back from swimming to explore other passions, and landed a casting internship.
After years working under some of the best-known artists in the business she has established herself as an innovative and dynamic casting director in her own right, fueled by her dedication, originality and talent. As a casting director, Liz brings clients’ visions to life. Responding to a moodboard or brief, she works with her clients to tell their story how they wish it to be told.
Liz’s portfolio boasts collaborations with some of the most esteemed names and brands in fashion. Her clients such as Levi’s, Pop Magazine, Gap, Y-3, Off-White, Self Service, Matthew Adams Dolan, i-D Heron Preston, Display Copy, DKNY, Document Journal and All Saints have enlisted her expertise and creativity. She regularly collaborates with stylists and photographers including Katy England, Nadine Ijewere, Alex White, Ib Kamara, Juergen Teller, Max Pearmain, Carlos Nazario, and Ethan James Green among others.
