An Atlanta native, Boyd began his career assisting the world's top makeup artists backstage at fashion week in New York and Europe. Being immersed in international collections and fashion editorial, Frankie was able to develop his own fresh and modern approach to color and makeup.
Now with over fifteen years of industry experience, Boyd's own extensive client list includes high-profile brands Burberry, Lancome, Loewe, MAC Cosmetics, Milk Makeup, Redken and Tory Burch. Boyd consulted on the Jill Stuart Lipstick launch for spring 2020.
Boyd has worked with esteemed industry photographers Alasdair Mclellan, Carlijn Jacobs, Inez + Vinoodh, Dan Jackson, and Gray Sorrenti. His editorials appear in Allure, Elle, Esquire, Harper's Bazaar, i-D, Interview, Love, The Travel Almanac, V Magazine, Vanity Fair, Vogue, and W Magazine.
